Do I have to pay customs fees?Updated a year ago
If the delivery address is in a country outside the European Union, the customer automatically becomes the importer. This means that your order is typically held at customs when it arrives in your country, awaiting payment of duties and taxes by the importer (you).
In summary:
- For shipments to the EU, there are no customs fees to be paid at the time of delivery.
- For shipments to the United Kingdom, there are no customs fees to be paid as we ship your order from our warehouse located in Birmingham.
- Deliveries to Switzerland are subject to customs fees.
Please note that VELITES is not responsible for the payment of these fees. If you refuse to make the payment at the time of delivery, your order will be returned to our warehouse. We reserve the right to deduct return fees from the refund.
Customs duties are determined by local customs authorities. Therefore, we have no control over these duties and cannot predict their cost. Customs policies vary significantly from one country to another. We recommend contacting your local customs office for more information.
To proceed with the payment, please contact your local carrier or, if possible on the carrier's platform, make the payment online.
